Across Phoenix is a dynamic alternative/indie rock trio that synthesizes the glittery hooks of ’90s jangle pop with earlier waves of indie pop, shoegaze, and dream pop. Compared to bands like Portishead, Wolf Alice, Radiohead, and Warpaint, their music carries a vibrant soundscape with unforgettable intensity. They bring an enigmatic and attractive stage presence to every venue- creating a complex wall of sound as a three-piece.
The young band began 2025 with relentless momentum—playing more than 50 stages, from packed bars to out-of-state shows and major festivals like Funk Fest, Algiers Bonfire Fest, and Pom Pom Palooza Fest. Their debut EP, spotlighted in Antigravity Magazine’s October 2025 issue, highlights Across Phoenix as one of the year’s most exciting and distinctive additions to the New Orleans music scene.

Founded in August 2024, AP began as a duo between Emma Lee and Evan Michell; recently, they have added their third player, Molly Thornton. Across Phoenix features Lee on guitar and vocals, Michell on drums, and Thornton on bass. Their self-titled debut EP and single "Spine" were produced and written by Lee, with recording and co-production from Michell. A second EP is currently in the works, with prospective release set in late February/March.
